Music Cities Forum: Indianapolis, IN

Developing A Music Strategy For Indianapolis

Event Profile

Music Cities Forum: Indianapolis will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at HI-FI and Fountain Square Theatre in the historic Fountain Square neighborhood. Music Cities Forum is the first of its kind in the U.S. and an extension of Sound Diplomacy’s Music Cities Convention.

Music Cities Forum is a one-day event delivering important discussions exploring how music influences urbanism. As Indianapolis continues to grow, and culture evolves as the centerpiece, success will come from a symbiotic relationship and solid foundation between artists, government, local businesses and music consumers. Music Cities Forum is focused on developing both short and
long-term strategies for Indianapolis as it relates to music,
tourism, policy and economic impact.

As an international event, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with local leaders and industry professionals from across the U.S. and the United Kingdom. 150 attendees will attend and participate in a mix of panels, presentations, and roundtables with topics including music policy, creative opportunities for artists and music-focused businesses and a long-term strategy for our growing city.
